CityROCK Film Festival - Cape Town's 1st dedicated rock climbing Film Festival

January 26 – February 1 2007 - featuring a world premiere.

Tea for Three. The latest climbing film by South Africa’s own Fresh Air Crew.
Three middle-aged men who refuse to age gracefully. They might not be world-class climbers, but they are world-class buddies. World Premiere. 44 Minutes.

Specimen Film – the South African Premiere of the new Rocklands, Cederberg bouldering film. Featuring Daniel Woods, Lisa Rands, Andy Raether, Fred Nicole, Cedar Wright. A Film by Chuck Fryberger. 78 Minutes.

Rocklands – by Hein de Vos.  The classic SA film on bouldering in the Cederberg. We managed to track down the director and get him to agree to let us show it as part of our festival.
Featuring Justin Hawkins, Fred Nicole, Mary Gabrieli, Scott Milton, Bernd Zangerl, Sandra Stude, Guillaume Boissard.

First Ascent. First Ascent, from Sender Films and director-producer Peter Mortimer, features today's top climbers as they lay siege to steep faces and soaring alpine walls in pursuit of climbing's pinnacle achievement to the First Ascent. The film focuses on climbing's modern day pioneers and their quests to make first ascents of the most astounding unclimbed rock formations and mountains in the world - taking you from the Himalaya's to deep-water soloing in Thailand, to the Black Canyon all the way to the buildings of Hollywood. 68 minutes.
